Hey all,
I have always had a problem whereby sometimes after being turned off my monitor would not display a picture until the computer had been hard reset.
I finally found the solution to this was to enable the "reduce DVI frequency" option in CCC. It worked a treat! Now heres the odd bit. After i shut down and restarted last night following from setting this option i get a BSOD on startup saying ati2mtag.sys is broken....
Thus followed many uninstalls / re-installs and sure enough EVERY time i change thta option BAM my install breaks!! I have gone all the way back to cat 6.3 to no avail...
Ok so can anyone shed any light on why this life saving, must change option is the ONLY option i cannot change without corrupting my catalyst install? Im pulling my hair out here
Thanks guys.
