Is there any point having a P67 board with a non 'k' chip. Would a H67 save some cash and leave room in the budget for better graphics?

Edit. Just checked and that would save a tenner if you got the MSI H67MA-E35. Stick with the stock cooler and you could afford the GTX 560.

Ah. Didn't check stock levels before suggesting that mobo. With overclocking off the menu, an aftermarket cooler doesn't seem essential though.

Adding a future 2500K or maybe Ivy bridge etc will be easier with a P67 board, then he can overclock all he wants.

How is this, I am about £5 over budget but has a nice shiny 2500k inside, not sure about the PSU mind cause there's been no reviews for it. Anyone tried it, it's from a good company but someone here will know if it will work on the system
