Bebox Issues

In general I am very happy with my 16mb+ line and BE themselves have been very helpful & polite when I have had to call them (twice to set up the account and twice after the box arrived)

However Im wondering if people can think if this is a potential issue with my bebox (and whether I should get a netgear replacement)

Basically the bebox is in the bedroom next to the phone port - and I have wireless set up for when necessary but in general I use cables linked via Powerline plugs

Every so often my hard wired network dies and I revert to wireless (which connects fast but always feels a little sluggish compared to wired) for a while before I can use the network cable again and it works.

This happens randomly and with little indication as to when its going to occur

The only two points of failure I can think of (as it cant be a broken cable) are either the PowerLine adaptors or the Bebox - and in regards to the PowerLine equipment it never seems to drop its connection during these times but it would seem unusual for wireless to work on the bebox and the wired network to fail

Can anyone give me any ideas where else to look/what else to try before changing the bebox to another router?

I got the 834N flashed with the DG Team firmware, but was only syncing at between 4.5 and 5.5 meg.

After looking and reading a few forums it seems that a Sky branded DG834GT flashed with either DG team firmware or the uberGT firmware seems best with BE.

So I got one last week from the well known auction site, reflashed it to the DG firmware and I am now syncing at between 5.5 and 6.5 depending on which way the wind is blowing. So I am pleased. :D
