Hi guys,

I got BeThere a couple weeks ago and every 4-5 hours the internet drops out for about 30 secs then comes back up on the BeBox Speedtouch modem. I've heard good reviews about the Linksys AM200, would this improve my service any?

And if I get AM200, do I NEED a router? As more than likely I won't need to use wireless/split the connection. I am the only one on it..but if theres benefits to it, such a QoS then I may consider it, athough QoS is useless if it's just one person on it I suppose :p

Cheers.

AM200 will work just fine, i replaced my bebox with one and attached it to my wrt54g to share out to the house and its been working absolutely fine since, not had to reboot it once.

Doesnt sound like you need a router so just get an am200 :)

Just received my AM200, spent the last hour trying to get it to work with BeThere. I don't have a router connected to it, so I thought it would be easy. but atm I can't even connect to 192.168.1.1. I've tried Routed/Bridge modes.

Anyone got an idea what I'm doing wrong?

Going to try a hard reset on the modem and see if I can gain access back to it again.

Got the internet working, but now I can't access the Linksys control panel. Can't even ping it, but the internet's working. :o
