nothing to do with Mr B owning / driving it, there's a lot of discussion on matte paint atm, aside from how awful it may be to maintain I think this car actually suits the matt finish.

I think Matte grey is the worst of all Matte finishes.

It literally looks like they primered the car and couldn't be bothered to actually paint it.

Well they are all fifth generation (2005–present) based on the D2C platform but the 2011 (avaliable from 2010) was the generation revison (body styling, engine, loads more).
