Bedroom TV

Looking for a cheap TV for the bedroom. Looking at 32-43” 4K/UHD, preferably with freesat.

Will be using with a SkyQ mini box at the moment, but this could change.

Budget £350

Not expecting anything fantastic, obviously HDR is not required but given it will be used in a dimly lit/dark room good contrast and low brightness performance is preferable.

Hisense 43A7GQTUK is £230 if you can get access to Costco somehow.

Don't think it has Freesat, but you can buy a cheap box for the difference I guess.

Pulled the trigger in this. Hopefully it’s up for the job, certainly looks to the best option sub £300.

Yeah, basically I would say this on an absolute budget, or £500 for a 48" OLED, but that is quite the bump in price.

It is but any budget LCD is going to have terrible black levels and backlight bleed.

I’d have gone for the 48” A1 OLED.

Arrived and installed.

It’s stupidly good for £230… Seriously had low hopes but this has to be the best budget TV.
