Beds and Mattresses

Looking to order a new bed and mattress.

Anyone had any good experiences with the online options?

mattressonline.co.uk / mattressman.co.uk etc all have pretty conflicting reviews so thought I might see if anyone here had any recommendations.

Definitely get a Pocket Sprung Mattresses, more comfortable,far better than a Open spring mattress.

Avoid mattressonline.co.uk, I had the misfortune of ordering from them and while they do deliver on time, their after sales support is poor, they were rude/disinterested on the phone and take ages to respond to emails. Their ~5% non-refundable credit card fee is a load of nonsense as well.

Be warned any mattress you order online nearly all stores will not accept returns under DSR if you have opened the packaging. And even if it remains sealed in the packaging most will charge a ridiculous rate to have it collected and then try and charge you for posting it to you in the first place. It's a bit of a minefield really.

Ideally you should try + buy in store.

I'd buy from a store also...When it comes to buying furniture and beds, it's always best that you physically try out the product before you purchase it, in my opinion.

Anyone any recommendations off MattressMan? In the process of looking for one myself as our old memory foam one has sagged in the middle!
