Bedside clock losing time

I’ve just returned from holiday after a week away and plugged my bedside clock/light back in and set the time. A few hours later, when I went to bed, I noticed the bedside clock was now showing an hour and 45 minutes slow. I reset the time again before going to sleep.

In the morning, I once again found the clock an hour and a half behind.

Does anyone know what causes clocks to lose time in this way? It was working perfectly before I went on holiday. Is it for the bin?

Many thanks.

M.

Would you believe I was able to factory reset the alarm clock and it is now keeping the right time. Who knew that alarm clocks could be factory reset using a key combo!

How did you do It? I have the same clock and it loses time too (only a couple of minutes but still loses time)

You pull the plug and wait 10 seconds. You then hold the centre button (there’s only three buttons on mine, I believe other Lumie clocks have many more buttons) while plugging the device back in again. You hold the button for a few seconds longer then release.
