Beef Brisket

I've just ordered a 5kg rolled brisket from my local butchers for a bbq on Saturday, I'm not bothering with the whole BBQ thing though, I'll start it off in the oven then finish it on the BBQ for a couple of hours.

You'd be better off doing it the other way round if you care about the smoking part...and if you don't care about it I'm not sure why you're finishing it off in the BBQ at all ;)
 
It's just the time, last one I did I started the oven low before I went to bed then it had a good 8hrs of slow roasting then a couple in the bbq hot to give it some texture on the outside.

I'm not setting my alarm to re fuel the bbq every hour
 
Got all the lads over Saturday for lunch maybe if I chop it into smaller lumps it'll be quicker.

Was so tasty last time......

75 then an hour resting bringing it down to 60 odd then 1/2 hr in a hot bbq.

Eating it now cold in rolls will my home made coleslaw yummy
