I feel like having curry for dinner so I'm after some suggestions.

I've got some casserole steak, tinned tomatoes, garlic, onions, potatoes, a fairly well stocked drawer full of spices and some natural yoghurt.

I usually find casserole steak is awfly chewy! Cook it slowly.
You can make beef madras!

I'm not sure i'd use to tomatoes though.
With some of your spices you may be able to make Bombay Potatoes.

Whichever style this one is - http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/beefmadras_67360. I'm cooking it now.

Just for anyone interested in making a beef curry, I too had (most of) the ingredients for this one. Swapped out a couple of herb/spice but it's extremely nice.
Have never bothered making a curry from scratch but I'm really impressed with the taste of this, given how easy it was to make. :)

I was actually a bit disappointed with that recipe. It didn't taste like any madras I've had before. That's not to say it was bad, just not what I expected.

i'm not surprised. 1 green chilli is nowhere near enough heat for any madras Ive ever had. It doesn't even say what kind of chilli, there are loads of different variety of chilli, the colour is useless  In a supermarket a "green chilli" is usually a Jalepeno lol.
