I know and like it when people praise me for customer service, and I wanted to give something back from a company I purchased from which I was impressed with.

Bit of a strange one, I like to often purchase Beef Jerky, and I like the range of flavours. :)

However I did receive the wrong flavour Jerky in the packet, I had the peppered flavour in the honey packet!

It was no problem as I like them both anyway, however I informed the Wild West company with photos to let them know in case they didn't know it was happening, or if it was a certain batch.

The founder thanked myself and wanted my address so he could send me some goodies, and here they are. Just thought I'd share my experience, and I would highly recommend Wild West Jerky as your number one jerky supplier! :)

In case you think the above photo isn't mine, here is some proof. ;)

Sweet ;) Keep those doors on the advent calendar closed for now! :D

I am prepared! Someone covered up the numbers with little white stickers and attached a troll face to it. Only got one as a wind up for my colleague, he hates Christmas, so I bought him one early. ;)

Get one, they cost like a quid, get in the Christmas spirit.......even though it is only October.......

I am not celebrating Christmas early don't worry, I don't normally buy one till the end of Nov, more of a wind up for my colleague. ;)

Nice! Love beef jerky, but it's too expensive to buy even in bulk when I can get my protein fix from other sources more cheaply.

Enjoy it! It's lovely stuff.

Good to hear that customer service is something that is still present and correct.

It is pretty expensive which is why I was shocked with the amount I was sent. :)

Not dry at all, mine was fresh. :)

It is chewy and lovely though, I like it. I wouldn't eat it every day though. :)

Richard the founder of Wild West has mentioned to me a few things as he has read this thread and wanted to confirm some things. :)

People have mentioned Texas Joe's here, and actually this is produced in Scotland along with Wild Wests Jerky. Wild West sell it for Joe. It is zero added sugar and low salt and higher in protein as a result of being dried more. Richard personally doesn't think it's as nice but it is down to personal taste. It's available in Sainsbury's now for those who want to try it (as of last week). :)

Also, the whole dog food thing, well I suppose it does look like dog chews and may not look nice, but it is really tasty I was pleasantly surprised as it doesn't look nice, but I love it. :)

I guess there will be better or higher quality of Jerky in some ways, but I'd say the packets I have are more consumer, as I just buy it from the supermarket with my lunch, and it is still lovely.

It looks like a Marmite thing you either love it or hate it. :p

WARNING: Causes constipation, here is the proof if you dont believe me:

I also like how your phone is ringing in the background but this is WAY more important :D

Not ringing at all. That is my voicemail, however it is glitched as I do not receive voicemails, so it just stays red. :)
