Beef wellington cooking time?

I got myself some nice looking beef wellingtons from a local butchers, he said just put it in the oven at 170 until its golden brown.

Any idea how long it would take? Are we talking 20 minutes or 40 minutes?

If they are individual wellingtons I would say no more than 20 minutes, probably less (this all depends on how rare you like them). But it should be golden in that time easily.

Around 20-30 minutes for medium rare/medium.
