so its been a while since ive gamed on my pc and as of now it either needs upgrading or i need to start fresh,

I'm currently using;
asus P8H77-I mITX mobo
MSI GeForce GTX 760 OC Gaming Edition
i5 3570k
cheap 8gb ram
500w PSU

it still plays some games well but id like that bit more out of it, I don't want to spend to much cash and possibly just looking to upgrade the ram and gpu but any and all advice would be very helpful,

the website says "1600MHz and higher frequency is supported by Intel® 3rd generation processors" but i have no clue when it comes to this so again any help with ram would be very helpful,

I've been looking at the gtx 1060 as an upgrade choice if it would be possible as i don't want to spend £300 on a GPU.

Thanks in advance for any help.

+1 for the 970, still a solid card.

I personally think Nvidia are taking the Michael with the 10 series pricing at the moment because they can get away with it. Sure they are good performers but I don't feel like any of the current offerings are providing a good value.

It's looking like a good choice with the gpu to be honest,

if its going to just be a gpu and ram upgrade can any one recommend a good 16gb of ram that would work with my mobo?

Thanks
