Hoping SA can help me out here.
I've been given a Fitbit Flex. It's brand new, sealed. I thought about using it, but having looked into the reviews and what it's capable of.. I'm not sure it's worth using and I might do better by selling it and buying another model / something else.
My main exercise is cycling, rock climbing and then at the gym I'll do rowing, more cycling and then some work on weight machines.
I don't enjoy running. I tend to spend ~45 mins walking at lunch (if the weather is nice) but Google Fit tracks this for me. Google Fit also successfully tracks my cycling to and from work.
From what I can see.. a Fitbit Flex won't track anything I do, other than maybe be more accurate than Google Fit for my lunchtime wonderings. The sleep tracker is appealing, but I'm not sure if it's much use.
My wife enjoys running, and is on her feet a lot more at work but can't wear watches etc. From what I've read, it's not too great at tracking when placed on the ankle.
Are they worth selling, could I realistically sell it and buy a pair of Xiaomi Mi Band Pulses? They seem to do a lot more, but don't have the fancy app - but does it integrate with Google Fit?
I don't even know if I want a fitness band, but I do like gadgets
Any advice?
