Been infected by 'Secure-ams.adnxs.com' how do I remove it??

I don't know how my system has contracted this piece of Malware, but I've tried running Malwarebytes and I'm currently running Spy-Bot and they're only finding cookies at the mo!!..

It appears to be just an annoying 'pop up generator' and 'browser hyjack'

But I reeeeaaaallllyyyy want to clean this carp off my system!!

Update...

Just ran Malwarebytes in Safe Mode (with Network), found nothing!, so I restored the system to a restore point from about a week ago!...

Worked!, No more annoying pop-ups, no more 'Your system is running slow, click here' or 'you need to update your media player' carp!!!...

Thank god for Automatic Restore points!!

Really didn't want to have to re-build!!.. I had the discs out and ready and everything!!

It might have been a malicious extension.
