Hey all,

Am trying to pick a case for a new build. I'd like things to be reasonably quiet and am selecting other parts based on that. However, the case is proving tricky.

I've been looking at the two different Sonatas.

Sonata Elite - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-109-AN&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=160

Sonata III -

The Coolermaster Sileo 500 - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-164-CM&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=29

I also am attracted to the Antec 300 but it's not what you would call a 'silent' design. I like its plain design and the location of the I/O panel which is a good spot for me, bearing in mind where the case is going to be sitting.

Anybody any experience of 300 case noise wise?

Are there any other cases i should be considering? As you can see from my choices, I'll not be going high end case wise. Will be putting probably a 260 or a 4870 in it graphics wise. Would these cards fit in these cases? Was worried as have read a little elswhere that the Sonatas can be tight for some cards. Any advice/advice, knowledge or other options you could give would be great.

Ta! :)

Sonata III or antec 300 should be fine but it really depends on what you intend on putting in it. Antec 300 can fit a 260 no problem. Not sure about the sonata. ;)
