currently have a xigmatech prime 140 and have been offered a brand new zalman Lq310 aio cooler for £30 from a mate, would i see much differences in my temps?

Nope. Leave it! Your current cooler is a good one despite it not being massively expensive. The lq310 would actually appear to give higher temps!

bloody hell, my cooler beats it? not too shabby for an air cooler then haha, tbh i was moree looking for space, as mine is hugeeeee, but yeh if im getting better temps, i might stick with it, and maybe buy it anyway for a second build at some point, its too cheap to pass up on i think, brand new in box

Well there are refurbished h80's out there for around the price you are looking to pay that come with a small warranty.

yeh iv noticed this, but i know this one is brand new in the box, so im assuming its got most of its warranty intact, im just having a look at how long that actually is

ok so i got it anyway, all is looking good, was still all packaged up, but i got the itch to do some testing, so far idle and load temps seem to be about 2-3 degrees lower than with my air cooler, can hear the water gurgling round the loop (anyone else now need to pee? xD) might stick with it for a little while and see how it performs, but at least i now have a spare cooler to add to my other spares, stuck some arctic cooling f2's on it (i think thats what they are) on push pull config, gona try and find some better fans, but gota be white to match the rest
