Mates second hand, he said i can have it for a ton, does this seem fair? Its just standard used, not pristine, not really over used etc...
I've always wondered why people use the word 'ton' on this forum where it's meaningless and misleading. Never heard it used elsewhere like so. Firstly, it's a unit of weight (edit: well, mass), and if we're going by the metric system, it means 1000kg, not 100... (Alternatively it's 2000 pounds).

What about:
a Pony = £25
a Monkey = £500
a Grand = £1,000
a Plum = £100,000

Err. Well, I'm aware that £1000 is a grand. Never heard the others used.
