Have been meaning to upgrade my processor and have come up with the following spec.
Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 "LGA775 Conroe" 3.00GHz (1333FSB)
Asus P5N-E SLi nForce 650 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) PC2-5400C5 Dual Channel Vista Upgrade Gold Series DDR2 (OCZ2VU6674GK)
I have heard the motherboard listed above will work with 1333 Conroe, is this correct? Also is the memory the correct speed to run the processor at stock speed? (I won’t be over clocking)
Sorry for the stupid questions, it has been a while since I have looked at processors and motherboards with the view to upgrading so don’t really know what’s what
