I'm really enjoying doing night photography, even though it is freezing at the moment.

I chatted briefly with another guy who was taking pictures with his 1-series down at the Thames Barrier. The jammy git was a professional photographer who is currently being flown around the world taking pictures of iconic buildings. Today the Gherkin and Canary Wharf, then off to New York shortly and several other countries as well.

Anyway, I digress. C&C welcomed

1) Thames Barrier

2) Thames Barrier, Canary Wharf & Millennium Dome

3) Blackwall Tunnel approach road, looking north

4) Blacwall Tunnel approach road, looking south

5) Greenwich foot tunnel

What do the first two look like in b&w?

Just tried it quickly. Pretty grey to be honest - the key to the first two images is the colour reflected in the water. There is not enough contrast in them to provide an interesting b/w shot

Very nice indeed.

At what time of day were the first few taken?

Thanks

Around 1715-1730 - I rushed from work to try and get there whilst there was still some light in the sky. I was hoping for a bit more colour, but a cloud front had rolled across.

Do you have any larger pictures of the same photo?
What size do you want?
