Been waiting on a card for a while, thinking of cancelling order. Where to go next?

I had a Gigabyte R9 270x with BF4 for a very nice price from another retailer on order but the item is not coming in stock for a very long time it seems. I want a good budget card in the realms of £200 that will last me a while. I can go further than £200 but it has to be worth the extra money. I want to play most/all games at a decent detail with a minimum of 40fps. Also, would there be any advantage with Nvidia or AMD?

My current build right now is.

FX6300 @4.5Ghz
Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600Mhz
ASUS M5A97 EVO R2.0
GTX 560 Ti
Corsair GS600 600W

280X is worth the extra. There are also good deals on the GTX 770.

The thing is, it's an extra £100-130. The price is really inflated atm. What is going on with this Nvidia gameworks?

No idea what that is. You can get a 280X at around £250 if you can stretch it or a 760/270X on your current £200 max, believe both are below that.
