Beeping when playing cod 4

Have just installed Call Of Duty 4 on my sons computer,but whilst playing the game the computer starts beeping at regular intervals. Any ideas on what might be causing this? Any help would be much appreciated.
PC spec
AMD 3800+ 939
Radeon X1950 pro
2 gb ram

Beep from where? The tower? My wife's pc did this a lot when playing Unreal Tournament..turns out her keyboard was the problem.Too many keys pressed at the same time caused the system to beep.

Solution is to either buy a better keyboard,or unplug the speaker from the motherboard

Yep pretty common issue with ps2 keyboards.

Beeps coming from the tower and no keys are being pressed at the time. So I guess that rules out the keyboard.

Check bios settings. Not sure about your board, however, mine has a feature where by it'll use system beeps to let me know when the cpu etc. reaches a certain temperature.
