Hi everyone, firstly I would like to appologise for a thread on line stats.
Reason is I moved from virgin media cable (20mb) to adsl when I moved out of my parents house and it was the only option where I now live.
I'm used to the speeds it offered so would appreicate if you could comment on the line stats to see if they are the best I am likely to achieve.
It's a new build house so no ringwire etc. and the router is in the master socket, which I fitted myself as BT wouldn't send an engineer to fit as the wiring was already in the house.
I'm on LLU on the upto 8mb package and according to samknows 3.7km from the exchange.
xDSL linestate up (ITU-T G.992.5;
downstream: 2821 kbit/s, upstream: 991 kbit/s;
output Power Down: 16.5 dBm, Up: 12.0 dBm;
line Attenuation Down: 62.5 dB, Up: 34.5 dB;
snr Margin Down: 6.5 dB, Up: 6.5 dB)
Cheers
