Hey guys,

So I'm about to buy my case for building my first PC. I've been reading a lot about various components etc. and I've heard good stuff about the Zalman Z9 and the BitFenix Shinobi series. Before I'd buy I was wondering if anybody else could recommend any other cases to me that I could consider buying (I don't want to spend the money on a case I won't be satisfied with :P). I'm looking for something semi-spacious that can fit a moderately large cpu-cooler in like the Prolimatech Megahalems Rev C if needs be. I also want it to have USB 3.0 at the front, a dust filter would be nice, a decent airflow and enough room to fit any GPU in (I'm not looking to crossfire/sli any time in the future).

If anybody could recommend something they've been pleased with in the past then I'd be grateful. :)

Also I'd want something that looks pretty sleek and stylish with not to many bulky parts like the HAF has. Good cable management is always a bonus too. :P

Thanks guys

Not really bothered too much, <£100 is good, but the cheaper the better. I don't want to be paying extra money for just the brand name though.

I wouldn't say a case can be classed as a beginner case as such.

Really depends on budget and personal preference. Also future plans.

For example if you want a MATX case or if you think you could possibly water cool in the future etc. Best to plan ahead.

Also - do you want a "silent" case like the Fractal R3/4 etc?

I would have a good look at the cases available for the budget you're looking at. Go for proper good name cases no generic pap. Then read reviews/watch youtube reviews on them.

That's what I tend to do - youtube is great as you get a good look at the case before you decide to buy.

I wouldn't be too worried about dust filters because if you really them you could use womens tights to make homemade ones .

i would reccomend a case with decent dust filters personally as i hate dust!

fractal have good cases with good dust filters.

one case i really like is anides. they look fantastic and have good reveiws.

its a little close to the £100 limit though
