Hi Ian '8Pack',
Coming to you, as I know how great overclocker you are. I hope you remember August 20-22 (this year) ? Was great to meet you. I could've spoken to you about it, but I didn't have any overclockable chip yet so not much point asking for an advise.
Anyways, here's the deal:
Finally got myself overclockable chip, which is not even i5K. You got it right, it's Pentium G3258. It's matched with MSI Z97 Gaming 9 AC, 4x4GB of Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz RAM and custom watercooling + Corsair CX750M. Currently running it under OC Genie (4.2GHz), as all guides I found were either crap, or completely useless.
Could you explain to me please what to start with? How to find out what voltages I might go up to, to stay safe? I had it running 4.3GHz by manual OC but I felt like it would burn, as I am complete novice in this.
Cheers,
Nichrome
