Ive been wondering if im getting the best out of my internet connection.
I have as follows.
A DS3965P-DS3 board
A Linksys 10/100 netwok card (plugged into the above)
A Linksys router no: BEFSR41

Ive only got a 2mb cable connection to the net.

Am i getting the best by using the linksys stuff? Im sure my MB has an internet connection plug but i dont use it, am i getting the best from my setup? Or is my hardware dated.

Not really sure what you mean, but your network card (and probably router) is 100Mbit (so 10 Mega Bytes per second transfer speed, roughly), and your internet is 2Mbit, which is a hell of a lot slower, approximately 256KB/s (Kilo bytes per second or 0.2 Mega bytes per second).

*Hopefully all my MB/Mbit/KB etc are all correct ;)

Also, nothing wrong with linksys stuff. My router/wireless AP are both thomson, and I use a netgear switch, dlink wireless adapter, and the onboard adapters on my PC/laptops so a bit of mix and matching going on.
