Any guitarists tried these? They cost about twelve quid each, have obviously ripped off the Boss designs (albeit with crappier components and dodgy build quality) but I have to admit they ain't bad.

I bought the compressor, which honestly sounds the same as a CS3, the 7 band graphic, which does as it says on the tin (except for a small amount of hiss, which is present on the Boss EQ also) and the dual overdrive, which I'm not lying, sounds better than the Boss OD2 I recently sold.

They do a delay for like £27 and are bringing out some more this year - apparently including a memory man clone. Now obviously they are just ripping off the designs, in fact Behringer are known for it, but at £12 a go, who cares if they get smashed up at gigs? Just buy another one. I recently considered buying a Keeley modded DS1, but £120 was just a bit steep. Obviously I'm not saying these are even close to being that good, but they are better than your standard £30 budget makes.

If they're as crap as the Behringer mixers then I wouldn't bother, it's a false economy and you'll be replacing them with something else in no time.

Actually I won't, because I don't have the £150 it would need to replace them with something good. I bought them before Christmas, cost like £36. I've only been using at home (I don't gig much) so high end pro gear is a little pointless for me.

But I get what you're saying.

I really like a lot of the cheap Behringer stuff! For the price you pay you really can get a good quality sound out of them.

Now admittedly it's probally not going to be as good as some Boss pedals but as banja said not everyone will want to fork out 150 quid for a delay pedal when you can buy a Behringer rack mounted amp modeller and effects for the same price :D

You don't need to spend 150 notes on a delay pedal, it's less than half that for the Digitech Digidelay which'll give you 4 seconds of delay as opposed to just over 1 second for the Behringer.

Tracii Guns (of LA Guns / Brides of destruction) uses behringer pedals, i thought they were the ***** end of the market but they sounded pretty damn good!

I was most impressed with the "hells babe" wah pedal he had, sounded cracking and at only £35 its amazing.

I've got a Behringer distortion modeller, and a bass distortion pedal, and my brother has one of the tuner stomp boxes and they all work really well and are a bit of a bargain for the price! They are made of plastic but seem to have handled a fair amount of abuse in their time
