Being pressed for a mobile upgrade

I still have my trusty S2 but would like to update it but stay kind of one gen behind so I don't bump my monthly payments too much. My monthly I think is 2gb data, unlmtd txts and 600mins which is just over 15quid a month.

I've always upgraded just as a new gen comes out so I keep the semi newish phone while keeping my contract price low, so current options are the HTC One vs the GS4, my gf has a GS3 so I know galaxy are awesome but not so sure on the One, I think it looks 100% nicer than the GS4 but the camera is shockingly lower spec? any opinions appreciated!

The lower camera spec is an experiment in larger pixels for lower light shots, imho it's a good theory but not as good a result as was hoped, ive seen some awesomely good pics shot on one though, imho the thing that let down the H1 was fit and finish but that might have been sorted out by now and the bigger footprint smaller screen. The S4's camera isnt as standout good as the s3 was and some say the H1 is faster but i haven't noticed this, both good phones though so imho relax and take your pick imho you could comfortably put the Sony z1, note 3 or nexus 5 in your choice tbh these days all flagship phones are good enough that there are no carp choices.

Quite a good post, I'm in a similar situation with Razr (xt910) that I'm due to upgrade. Not sure which phone I want to get but leaning towards an N5

How much would you be looking at for an S4?

I'm pretty sure the S3 is still much cheaper and would still be an upgrade over what you have at the moment too.
