Greetings gentlemen!

I have been away for the last week and just got back a few hours ago. Imagine my delight as seeing my name ABOVE Mr Freefaller's in the stats :D

So my forever falling frenchie friend here is your official notification of PARPAGE!

Yes it is late but what can you do :p

lol, and finally SiriusB stomps his long time rival Mr Freefaller. But can freefaller accept the challenge and return the compliment? :D

This arrived while I was away so any challenge from him or anyone else is going to get harder :p

I feel your pain. The hardware arrived about 3 ours after I left for my holiday. 6 days in Snowdonia knowing I have C2D goodness waiting for me. It was agony lol.

nice kit sirius - hope to see you stomping my overclocks with your overclocking knowledge :) (then perhaps you will share some wisdom my way :D)

I am told pretty much every E6600 can manage at least 3GHz so hopefully I can get it higher. When I have a little more disposible income I will be spending it on a watercooling setup so I can push the speed higher.

2bullish has his at 3.8GHz [seen it with my own eyes!]

What posessed you to use the word "swell"

I will make sure I keep notes while I OC the E6600. However I don't see it being incredibly in-depth as I don't normally have the patience to squeeze out every last MHz. At least not all in one go anyway :p

Yeh i'm thinking that I wouldnt mind to go water cooled cpu/gpu/nbdg myself someday - but i've never been that route before and I have no experience there. TBH I had enough trouble fitting this Ninja to the motherboard - after about 30 minutes of struggling I did find a very good way though. Not sure if its the same with the Ninja Plus but the four screws that go through the bottom of the board I just put them about 2 or 3 threads in and then fitted the Ninja via the metal spring clips etc and then inverted the board and tightened the screws up after - seemed to make things a whole lot easier (slight risk of stripping the threads if you havent got the screws in far enough though :( I applied my engineering knowledge as a guess and it worked out fine for me :)) I'm also sure i've got too much arctic silver in there because of my inflated temps but I cant be bothered to remove the Ninja again because it was such a pain to fit lol :o

I'll quote myself here..
