belinea 22" display - worth getting this?

Yep they are average products. Good for the price, but nothing special.

Are TN not better for gaming as the response is high and no ghosting but the tradeoff is the viewing angle is poor?

not always, but general rule of thumb in a crude way is that TN Film is a more responsive technology as a whole. Some modern P-MVA and PVA, as well as the new generation of S-IPS, can offer comparable responsiveness in pratice to the fast generation of TN Film panels available
