I was going for the Dell Ultrasharp E207WFP 20" but im still tempted by the Belinea.

My question is why is it so cheap at 22"?

Also my other concern is it doesnt have a DVI port. Will this make a big difference?

Thx

Have to look at Contrast Ratio too, to be honest, I doubt DVI will make the picture quality any better to the untrained eye, to me DVI seams like a bit of a gimmick.

Yep, no DVI, plus Belinea have always sold their stuff pretty cheap. Doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it though. I'm sure there's plenty of user feedback about it on these forums to help you judge that.

The E207WFP is good value while it's at £205, but not at around £250 IMO since it doesn't do anything that the other cheaper 20" TN panel screens don't do (the other ones around £200) and you can get 20" screens with better panels for around £280.

Not that I've actually had one but if you search the net theres loads of bad reviews about the e207 dell, all pretty much describing the same problems, so many bad reviews it put me off buying one.

Hi there

The Belinea 22" is one of the best if not the best, especially for the money. Get it and you will absolutely love it. Check the amount of reviews posted against the product on OcUK's site.

I can tell the difference between DVI and VGA on both my Dell LCD's.

You get straight lines which should only be 1 pixel thick (like the border of a forms text input field) appearing to be 2 pixels thick. Text can often look a little odd and it's the same effect when you look closely.

Can somebody measure the full height and width of the Belinea? Just want to know how big 22" will be ok my desk.

Thx

Hey, could anyone post a picture of their 22" belinea? I'm planning on getting one but I just wanna see how it looks in real life as a pose to the pictures you get with a white background if you know what i mean...

would appreciate it, cheers

The sound bar spoils it imo, the dell looks more sleek and the worry for DVI puts me off. I use a Dell at work (DVI) and the image quality is top notch.

If only they sold a black version of the belinea... There is the Iiyama 22" Pro Elite, but the cheapest i've found that is for £250, the only difference between it and the belinea is a dvi input and the fact that it's black, all the specs are the same though...apart from dvi...

DVI should be on your list of minimum requirements.
