Belkin AC1200

Hi, I have a Belkin AC1200 DB Wireless Modem Router (F9J1106) which has a separate power modem which is a dual modem and power source.

If anybody has one of these they will know it has one lead containing power and modem which splits into 2 just before they go in the router.

I am shortly getting Zen fibre, am I correct in thinking the new BT modem will therefore go into the router Wan/Modem port but I will carry on powering it via the original Belkin power modem lead.

That lead will then have the original modem lead simply hanging loose and not used.

Yes, the lead that currently goes to the WAN port will need to be unplugged and left hanging.

Thanks I hope you're right I'm sure you are, also the actual Router I presume will have no problem with FTTC.

It has an Ethernet WAN port and supports PPPoE so you should be okay.
