Hey there!

I apologise in advance for the length of the post, but I really am in a bit of bother, so I've given most of the details to make finding a (possible) solution quickly.

Recently (well, 2 months ago) my old Linksys modem w/ built in router went **** up. Basically what happened was that I was unable to connect to the internet on my computer (the computer the router was connected to) but as I had a wireless network, I was still able to use the net on my laptop wirelessly.

So today I bought a new Belkin ADSL modem with built in router. The instruction manual says that I should just plug in all of the wires, open IE, and type in '192.168.2.1' into the address bar, and the config page for the modem/router should appear. However, this is not happening and instead the standard 'the page is unavailable' is appearing.

This wouldn't have been such a huge problem yesterday, but I sold my laptop, so now I only have this computer (I'm typing this message using dial-up!!), and I can't access the router config page.

Could somebody please help shed some light on this situation please, as I really am bamboozled.

Any help would be really greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time!

Thanks, just remembered that!!

Having trouble finding the right drivers now!

If I have no luck, I'll just order a new ethernet card

Cheers for your help :)
