I recently bought a wireless Belkin Pre-N modem/router and a Belkin Pre-N Wireless PCI card. The problem is i cant get the card installed on my pc. I dont know if anyone is familiar this product but you actually get two cards in the box, a PCi card and the laptop wirless card. The wirless card slides into the PCI card which acts as an adapter (i think!)

I follow the instructions and Install the PCI part, put the disk in and strat through the installation wizard and it comes to a part where i have to slide the wireless card in. I slide it in and press 'ok' to install the drivers. The same 'press ok to install the drivers' promt just keeps popping back up as if its not recognizing the card is there. I've tried it in both PCI slots on my board (DFI Ultra-D) and in another machine. The cards have been back for testing and theres nothing wrong with them.

Is there something im missing?! HELP!

Hi m8

I have the card. You sure your not inserting the PCMPCIA card the wrong way into the PCI card as it will fit in either direction. I had the same problem initially, as the literature is naff and there is no way of really knowing whether the card is in the correct way or not.

Try putting it in the other way, as in with the stickers all facing up towards the sky (if you see what I mean) and try that, should work!
