Hi,
I have recently upgraded my wi-fi to a Belkin Pre-N router as it is supposed to have a greater range and speed than standard 802.11g.
The problem is that it seems to drop it's signal from time to time and I have to reboot it to get the signal back...!!! The two PC's which connect to it are using the Belkin Pre-N network cards as well, so I know it's not a compatibility issue. This PC is hard wired in and I get no connection problems at all, so that rules out the cable modem.
Does anyone else have on eof these Pre-N routers and if so have you had similar problems?
When setting up I went through the quick install process as stated in the manual - could there be something in the settings which I need to change to get it to function properly?
When it comes to routers etc I am a bit of a NooB - I haven't even made my wireless network secure yet, so anyone could be stealing my bandwidth.
HELP!
[EDIT]
Just remembered that it seems to happen at certain times of the day as well... could it be interferance?
