Belkin wireless g network adapter wont work with windows 7

Trying to install this on my second computer but the software won't work.

Anyone have this network adapter and is using it on windows 7?

Also, is there any other way of setting up wireless without using the belkin software?

I have one of these and it works fine on the RC of Windows 7 that is currently installed on my daughter's PC. I don't see why the final version of 7 would be any different.

Seems to depend on which version you have, I have a 3xxx and there's a Win 7 driver for it here...

Just a idea, try using a wired net connection, put on the dongle and Win 7 should search fro drivers automattically and download what it needs.

Then try going wireless, worth a try as 7 is pretty good at getting what it needs itself!

I did that but it still doesn't find the drivers.

Looking at that link it appears to me that not all versions of the dongle have windows 7 compatable drivers, unless I am being thick??

Yup, that's right...
