Belkin wireless G Range Extender/AP

just bought one of these for work, so we can have a wireless network in our other building.

But how do I secure it?

It plugs straight into the network, wireless laptops can find it and connect without the need for a WEP key or password, it then lets them straight on the network

How do I secure it down a bit?

It'll have a web interface, similarly to a router. Log into that and you'll have options for enabling encryption.
Use WPA in preference to WEP though, unless you have kit that won't do it.
