Belkin Wireless N Problem

I've got a belkin Wireless N router, and for some reason the internet freezes randomly, I've got one pc running xp (wireless connection), one running vista 32(wired connection), and a netbook on linux. It seems to be worse when the two pc's are accessing the internet at the same time.

Also my windows 6.1 mobile phone will not access the route at all even though all the settings are correct. doesn't even pick up the router half the time.

I've tried playing with a few of the setting on the router and the pc's but i'm not very Knowledgeable on this sort of thing.

I'm actually considering dumping the thing all together and getting another router, any recommendations? would have to be a lower priced one. no more than about £40-£50

I've recently updated the firmware with the latest on the Belkin website for the route. This was however not a recent update of firmware. The drivers for my wireless card are the only ones available. The wired connection i would have thought would be fine, but i've not updated this.

Both pc have been fine in the past on differnet connections. I also doubt this could possibly be the problem in this case as all three systems are having difficultly.

Just to add there is no connection loss between the pc's/laptop and the router just no data being transferred.

hope you get a reply cos i have a very similar problem with my belkin n router computer upstairs hard wired and wireless for the laptop the router will just lose the connection for a split second and then come back on
