First of all, I don't know if it would be worth getting a bench and some weights if I'm going to be joining a gym. However, if I do decide to buy these, I don't know which bench is best to get. I obviously prefer the York 520 Bench and Lat Curl because it has the Lat tower, but the construction doesn't seem so good looking at the images. Also, the description states that the backrest on the Pro Power Bench and Fly can lay flat. However, I wasn't sure if the same could be done with the York 520 Bench and Lat Curl.

Any input?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the advice. I realise 50kg isn't very much, I was thinking of adding to it later. Also, what's wrong with vinyl weights and how would cast iron ones, for example, be better? And what's wrong with the bar? Sorry for the novice questions, I'm really quite new to all of this!

I'll look into getting the things you suggested WantoN, thanks.
