Benching Day! Quick Q

Hey,

Today I intend to test 4 skt A cpu's and 2 boards. To save myself some time and hassle I thought it might be possible to simply lay the components out on my wooden coffee table. Is this possible? Any advice to avoid fires would be appreciated.

Also, how would I get the system to turn on without using a case switch, would I be able to merely place a jumper on the boards power switch pins and turn it on that way?
Also removing my IHS, wish me luck

Aye just use a screwdriver to short the pins to turn the power on and your rocking.

Both boards work, and 2 cpu's, woot. Now to actually bench
