Perhaps a dumb question but here goes.

I know that when benching with 3dmark you have to run the settings at default so other ppl can reliably compare their scroes to yours etc but within nvidia driver control panel do you set the driver to performance mode or quality mode? Ive alway run mine using quality mode - maybe thats why I always think 'gosh why are my friggin scores so low'

run in performance mode or like me put it in the middle, my scores with the slider in the middle are:

3DMark Score
7409
SM 2.0 Score
3302
SM 3.0 Score
3776
CPU Score
1543

Performance.

I know there has been many a thread agrument over the years on here eg "but what's the point when you don't run your games in performance mode?" etc

However, for you to compare with other people you have to pick a level playing field and performance is that level.

For my own use and as stated above, nobody runs games in performance I will run it on quality if I am changing something in the system to see the effect eg before I sold my 8800 GTS 320Mb and got the 8800 GT or overclocking etc.
