Benchmark improvements with the new NVidia drivers.

To all those who haven't done so as yet, upgrade to the new drivers. I benched before and after and Heaven increased from 920 to 1350 odd, for the same clock speed.

Never took much notice before of benching driver updates, but I'm definitely impressed with this update.

I can't believe that. 50% improvement.

I got 1 FPS more in Heaven.

(and I thought that was quite good)

I got maybe 3-5% improvement in Metro and Unigine.

I got one frame less in heaven with the new drivers compared to the betas.

Depends what driver he's upgrading from, obviously, although nearly 50% improvement seems pretty extreme.

Any screenshots? What were your previous drivers? From the cd?

50% sounds quite unlikely. I didn't get more than a few frames when upgrading from 260.99

Hmmm..... I also benched before and after and got 0.5fps increase from 260.99 to 266.58, something not quite right with Op's figures me thinks.

I got a nice gain in GTX470 SLI performance in Heaven - but single card performance isn't that much different for me - 6-7% higher from 260.99. Still they do seem to have some performance gains (6-18%) in most stuff on my 470(s) especially SLI performance.

BFBC2 and MOH seem a bit better for me, slight reduction in heaven.

BFBC2, TF2 and Oblivion are better for me. Haven't tried or compared other games though.
