Hey guys,

Just wondering if someone with a E6850 that have been able to get that parituclar CPU to 4GHZ would able to do some benchmarks (games mainly) for me. :)

Will be intresting to see the diffrence from 3GHZ to 4GHZ and 3.5GHZ to 4GHZ.

Especially 3.5GHZ to 4GHZ, we might actaully find that the diffrence is minimal.

Surely though their must be a peak where after a certain point (GHZ) the diffrence isnt very apparant?

This then might make it easier to pick a Q6600 over a E6850 or vise versa. :)

Thank you.

you could well be right here, but even if there is a difference i doubt it would be enough. and at the end of the day for 99% of people a core2 oc'd to 3.2ghz with 2gb of ram will easily be enough computing power.

If thats the case then a Quad could qite easily be clocked to them speeds and with reasonble temps. :)

Anyway, come on people :p , someone with a E6850 must like to do a few tests?

I bet im not the only one that would like to see the difference? :D
