Benchmarking Info

Hi,

I wondered if someone could give me some advice as to what program to use now for benchmarking.

I had problems getting 3DMark Vantage working (problem with a missing DLL even though the DLL wasn't missing).

I'd also like to know roughly what score I should be getting on the recommended program with the spec below:

Q6600 @ 2.4GHz
8GB PC6400 RAM @ Stock
ATI HD 4870 1GB RAM @ Stock
Resolution: 1920 x 1080

If 3DMark's not working, you could try Performance Test.

go for nuclearus for CPU

for games, its best to bench each game seperately.

Or try all of the 3d mark series for graphic tests, even though they are old people still run them to compare scores.

I know on 3d mark 06 it complained about a file with me but there is a known fix for it, think i had to delete or rename a certain file - google told me
