Benchmarking Office Systems

Hi All,

We are currently undergoing an upgrade process of laptops and desktops. What we need is some software that will benchmark each of these systems, and give us a "score" at the end. We can then compare these and determine the order in which systems are (or are not) replaced.
The issues I have come across so far with benchmark software is that most seem to incorporate a 3D test of some sort. This is totally irrelevant to the day to day usage of office machines, and will skew the results.
Does anyone know of software that would fill this role, preferably with a trial so that we can test it first?

Cheers,

PC Pitstop online scan.

Not the best thing out there but will show an improvement they will understand, for instance i got a score of 1900 on my pentium 4 3ghz and on my C2d rig i get 3900.

It will give a breakdown score of cpu, memory, hdd speed & space etc..

For the guys in the office it will suffice, and it measures 2d not 3d.

That looks to do just the trick. Cheers! We just needed some "metrics". We had to be able to quantify relative performance of all machines in the building. While this wont be 100% accurate, it certainly seems to have been representative of the machines we have tested.

Ta.
