Just wondering what ( or IF ? ) you guys use to benchmark overclocks, as I've been having mixed results and not sure if it's due to dodgy benchmarking tools
I have a Phenom II x3 720 BE running at 3.6
I've tried CustomPC benchmark, and also the benchmark in AMD Overdrive, but during overclocking with various combinations of using multiplier, fsb and also upping NB and HTlink it seems like after hitting bout 3.4 I've been going backwards in benchmarking on both of these. Yes, some aspects increase, but overall scores have been either only marginally better or even lower.

For benchmarkin you could try SisoftSandra Lite and for your gfx try Furmark and Aquamark.

To test the stability of your clock use prime95 or orthos and memtest.

The benchmarking apps aren't always that reliable - it's best to compare an applications results before your clock and then after.
