Benchmarks by percentage?

Are there any that take an average from a number of tests and show a percentage of how much better a cpu or gpu is over another in that range?

I find it easier to understand if i could compare how much better something is over what i've got like this, so i know something thats only actually 40% better isn't worth getting vs something thats 100% better or twice as good for example.

You cant, you hope that they have reviewed the item you want or closest match and use that.
