Looks like it murders the GTX 285, but is on par & slightly better in certain games than the GTX 295.
Which what we all kind of thought i guess, the 5850 could be the bargain imo.

It seems really stupid though, that more benchmarks are not leaked. The cards are obviously amazing, and little leaks in the performance of the cards, would help ATI in the build upto the launch.

If we got to the launch date with no real benchmarks and confirmed prices, then no one will rush out and buy them(well not many).

Smart move would be to leak prices & performance, so people could save up and know what they will cost & perform like since they are so good. Not like they will flop, holding back all this information, will only have a negative affect on ATI.

Anyone explain why all graphs are 5870 vs GTX 285, and not the GTX 295?

Sounds to me like the graph would not favour the 5870 much, otherwise you would compare the best single current GPU surely? not 2nd best:confused:

Well, if you have money to burn, go for it.

It just seems a little excessive when LCD's can only do 60FPS... ;) :p

Is that really true?

That seems pretty amazing to me, slightly disappointing, i honestly didn't know.

What average FPS would one need to run a game smooth, would the average gamer notice difference between 60fps and 100?
