I hate those benchmark who don't offer a video card benchmark only, always is related to cpu and updates.
Also they lack the technical values, like fill rate, for most gamers with a brain of a teenager does not matter at all.
But with people who has used they brain once, lol, is important.
Even on reviews, they lack of multimedia review, like cards with a big frame buffer (512MB and 1024MB) have an smooth performance in video editing.Obviously if the program support video acceleration.
I found a very customizable utility, some people know about it,
D3D right mark,
http://3d.rightmark.org/
where you can use from hardware rendering to DX9, and you can have from fill rate to texturing, note on other programs is locked for free.
Also I like this simple utility which can benchmark your card (only) and check for artifacts on an stress mode. This utility have been for a while, but now supports vertex and pixel shader.
And on their list you can find results from every card, even those rare AGPs version of PCI cards.
Video card Stability test

Another useful utility is ArchMark, which tell you all the boring stuff, like real bandwidth, fill rate, texturing, etc.
It's cool to check the installation of your video card. When I installed my Gainward the setup disc installed legacy drivers for my chipset, setting my AGP to 4x, so I got about 20 GB/s bandwidth, so but the fill rate was ok, so I knew it was a trouble in the AGP Bus, so I had to reinstall the Chipset and AGP controller drivers.
