Hi, what is the real benefit between these two types of memory? and is the higher grade worth it?

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-15000C9 1866MHz

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz

The benefits are not so much the difference in speed, but when overclocking the processor using the bus clock instead of multipliers it often gives a better result if the memory is more capable.

Depends largely on what processor / mobo you will be using it with. If the price premium is large, I would stay with 1600MHz
